Hope Week Events


All month 
  • Teal Toes - Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month - Teal Pedicures at area Salons to benefit Ovarian Cancer organizations. Participating Salons
  • Polish with Purpose - First Security Bank will contribute $2 to the Arkansas Cancer Coalition for each teal pedicure picture posted on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with #fsbtealtoes.

  • Soccer Balls for Miracle League - Jonesboro Prosthetics & Orthotics will collect all sizes soccer balls and give them to Miracle League.  Donate at either location.

  • Jeans for Charity - Farm Credit Mid-South - Wearing  jeans to raise money for Ag for Autism & St. Jude.

  • Food Donations for Food Bank - Staffmark. September Food Drive-staffmark.pdf

  • Seats & Feet Drive - NEASHRM is collecting socks and underwear for the Salvation Army. Drop-off locations Ritter Communications, Craighead Electric, Paragould - Centennial Bank

  • JHS Students - selling HopeCircle Dandelions

 

All week
  • LensMaster & NEA Baptist Eye Clinic - free eye exams & glasses for qualified students in area schoools.  For more information call 972-1818.
  • Businesses & Organizations provide lunch for cancer patients, with assistance from NHS Dance Team.


Sept. 1 - Jagged Edge Cares, Teal Toes Event, 500 Southwest Drive from 4-7.  Teal Pedicures, Silent Auction, Music, Food, Ovarian Cancer Awareness.

September 10 - Jagged Edge Community Sale from 7-noon.  Great items, sold individually and by bag.  Donations accepted. Proceeds benefit NEABF HopeCircle.

September 17 - Touch a Truck - 10-1.  NEA Baptist Medical Campus. Family friendly opportunity to learn about and "touch" trucks and service vehicles of all kinds and sizes, from trash trucks to mail trucks and ambulances. 

September 23 - Friends of NEA Baptist Sweets for HopeCircle Bake Sale from 7-noon at First National Bank on Highland.  Donate sweets or come purchase treats for the weekend and tailgating at the ASU/UCA ballgame.

September 28 -Teal Talk - Free, community luncheon featuring Dr. Kevin Collins.  "Fighting Cancer in our Community".  The event is sponsored by First Security Bank & NEA Baptist.

NHS EAST, Choir - Community Hope Tour

Free Resume Building Workshop - Staffmark, 9-noon.  Open to the public.

September 30 - Hoping for a Cure, Breast and Prostate Cancer Awareness Event, Pier One from 11-1. Sponsors: Ritter, NEA Baptist, KAIT8 & EAB.

October 1 - ShareHope Walk of Remembrance, 9 a.m., NEA Baptist Campus.
